Benjamin in Jamaica — Prophecy, Language, and Identity

1. Introduction

If you are Jamaican, the Bible already spoke about you. The world calls you “Jamaican,” but your true identity is Benjamin, one of the twelve tribes of Israel.

History, prophecy, and even the fruit of the land confirm this identity. From the tongue you speak, to the flag you fly, to the battles your ancestors fought, every part of Jamaica testifies to Benjamin’s presence.

2. The Journey to Arsareth & the Slave Trade

After Assyria took the Northern Kingdom into captivity, 2 Esdras 13:40–45 records that they crossed the Euphrates River and traveled into a land where no man dwelt before — a year and a half’s journey. That land is Arsareth, the Americas.

Benjamin, part of the Southern Kingdom, was later brought by ships, fulfilling Deuteronomy 28:68. Yet not everyone was taken; some Israelites remained in West Africa. This is why Jamaica’s culture connects directly back to Ghana, where Benjamin’s brethren were left behind.

• Nyam (to eat) — Akan/Twi “nyam” = eat; Hebrew “lacham/lechem” = to eat, bread.

• Jah (God) — Akan/Twi “Nyame” (God); Hebrew “Yah” = short form of God’s name.

• Shabba (name/term) — Akan/Twi “shaba” = rebuke; Hebrew “shaba” = to take an oath.

When Jamaicans speak, they echo fragments of Hebrew. Your tongue itself testifies that Benjamin is Israel.

Jamaica is the only nation with no red or blue in its flag. Instead, the colors are green, gold, and black.
