The Earth Is Fixed

Why We Believe the Earth Is Fixed
This is official doctrine in this camp.
We do not believe the earth is a spinning ball flying through endless space, tilted, orbiting, and drifting farther away from the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We believe the Bible teaches a fixed earth, a real firmament, waters above the heavens, luminaries set in that firmament, and the throne of God above it all.
This matters because cosmology is not trivia. Cosmology tells you what kind of God you believe in.
A globe worldview trains a man to imagine God as distant, abstract, and unreachable. It trains the mind to picture creation as a cold machine and heaven as somewhere far past measurable space. That is not the picture Scripture gives. Scripture gives a local God, a present God, a ruling God, a God who sits above the circle of the earth, stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and looks down on the children of men. Scripture gives a God whose heaven is a throne and whose earth is a footstool. Scripture gives a world ordered for covenant, judgment, signs, seasons, and visitation.

They gave us the wrong God but gave us the correct world?
The globe model is not neutral to us. It carries a worldview. It teaches distance. It teaches separation. It teaches that man lives on a tiny object thrown through a silent universe. It trains a slave mind to think God is too far to be feared, too far to be seen, too far to be present, too far to intervene. Covenant doctrine breaks that lie. Our God is not lost in outer space. Our God is above us. Our God is near. Our God watches. Our God rules. Our God judges. Our God visits.
That is why we teach the earth is fixed.
The mark of the system is written all over the model
Scripture says, “Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” When a system keeps pushing 666-style patterns through its official measurements, we do not call that nothing. We call that a warning.

Look at the pattern of what they say.
Earth circumference is 21,600 nautical miles. That is 600 x 6 x 6.
Twilight follows a 666-style pattern: civil twilight is 6°, nautical twilight is 12° (6+6), and astronomical twilight is 18° (6+6+6).
At its farthest point from the Sun, Mars is 1.666 times the Earth-Sun distance.
Shoemaker-Levy 9 struck Jupiter at about 60 km/s, which becomes 216,000 km/h, and 216 is 6 x 6 x 6.
The moon radius is about 1,080 miles, giving a diameter of about 2,160 miles. That is 6 x 6 x 60.
Earth’s orbital speed from the standard 29.78 km/s conversion becomes about 66,615.96 mph, a value saturated with sixes.
Saturn’s orbit distance is listed as 1,426,666,422 km.
The standard globe curvature formula produces about 8 inches of drop at 1 mile, which is 0.6667 feet.
The complement of Earth’s stated 23.4 degree tilt becomes 66.6 degrees.
We do not build doctrine on numerics alone. Scripture is our authority. But we do not ignore what keeps showing up either. The fingerprint of the system matters. The beast does not only mark commerce. The beast marks thought, imagination, power, false worship, and false explanations of reality. If the world is handed over to the wicked, then the wicked will not only corrupt law, money, and religion. They will also corrupt the map and the location of your God.
Genesis already told you what world you live in
The Bible does not begin with a ball in a vacuum. It begins with waters.
“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” That is Genesis 1:2.
Before the sun is appointed, there is water.
Before the moon is appointed, there is water.
Before the stars are appointed, there is water.
Before the luminaries are set in their places, there is the deep, there is darkness, and there is the Spirit of God moving on the face of the waters.
Then Genesis 1:3 says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
That means light appears before the sun is appointed in Genesis 1:14-19. The order matters. Scripture is not teaching that the sun is the source of all light and that creation must be read through the assumptions of modern cosmology. Scripture is teaching that light obeys God before the luminaries are assigned their roles.
The world begins with God, water, darkness, and light. Not with a solar system model.
The firmament is real
Genesis 1:6 says, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.”
Genesis 1:7 says, “And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament.”
Genesis 1:8 says, “And God called the firmament Heaven.”
That is plain language.
Waters below.
Firmament in the middle.
Waters above.
Psalm 148:4 confirms the same order: “Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.”
The Bible never tells us to imagine empty space where the text gives waters above the heavens. The Bible never tells us to imagine an atmosphere dissolving into infinite vacuum where the text gives a made firmament. The Bible gives a layered world. The Bible gives a structured heaven. The Bible gives a creation with an above and a below, with separation, order, and assignment.

The luminaries are in the firmament
Genesis 1:14 says, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night.”
Genesis 1:15 says, “And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.”
Genesis 1:17 says, “And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.”
The text does not place the sun, moon, and stars billions of miles beyond the biblical heaven. The text places them in the firmament.
That means the biblical picture is not an earth spinning through space around a sun that sits at the center of a vast emptiness. The biblical picture is a created world under heaven, with luminaries set in the firmament for signs, seasons, days, and years.
This is one of the great reasons we reject the oppressor’s world picture. Their model teaches you to look out. Scripture teaches you to look up.
The earth is fixed, founded, measured, and not moved
Psalm 104:5 says, “Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.”
1 Chronicles 16:30 says, “The world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.”
Job 38:4-6 says:
“Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth?”
“Who hath stretched the line upon it?”
“Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof?”
Read those words again.
Foundations.
Line.
Measures.
Corner stone.
Stable.
Not moved.
That is architectural language.
That is building language.
That is ordered construction language.
Scripture is not talking like a man trying to explain a globe spinning at high speed while tilting, orbiting, and flying through space. Scripture is talking like God built the earth, fixed it, established it, and set it in order.
The sea has bounds. The deep has a compass. Heaven has pillars.
Proverbs 8:27-29 says:
“When he set a compass upon the face of the depth”
“When he established the clouds above”
“When he strengthened the fountains of the deep”
“When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment”
“When he appointed the foundations of the earth”
Job 26:10 says, “He hath compassed the waters with bounds.”
Job 26:11 says, “The pillars of heaven tremble.”
Again, the language is not random and it is not accidental.
Compass.
Bounds.
Decree.
Foundations.
Pillars.
This is not chaos. This is not limitless drift. This is a world with boundaries, structure, and design.
The heavens are stretched out like something real
Job 37:18 says, “Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?”
A molten looking glass is not random. A molten looking glass is not a poetic way of saying infinite empty space. It is strong. It is spread out. It is compared to something firm and visible like a magnifying glass.
Isaiah 40:22 says:
“It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth”
“that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain”
“and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in”
A curtain is stretched. Firmament!
A tent is spread. Firmament!
The language is overhead language.
The language is covering language.
Ezekiel 1:22 says, “And the likeness of the firmament... was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.”
Ezekiel 1:26 says, “And above the firmament... was the likeness of a throne.”
So the Bible gives us:
a circle of the earth
heavens stretched out like a curtain
a tent to dwell in
a firmament like crystal
a throne above the firmament
This is not the slave master’s God of distance. This is the living God over a structured creation.
Circle, corners, windows, scroll
Isaiah 40:22 says God sits upon the circle of the earth.

The Bible says circle.
Not globe.
Not sphere.
Circle.
Revelation 7:1 says, “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth.”
Genesis 7:11 says, “The windows of heaven were opened.”
Revelation 6:13 says, “And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth.”
Revelation 6:14 says, “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together.”
That is biblical cosmology talking in sequence:
circle
corners
windows above
stars falling from heaven to earth
heaven rolled back like a scroll
You do not need the oppressor’s reinterpretation to read those verses. You need the fear of God and the courage to let the text say what it says.
Heaven above, earth below, throne overhead
Isaiah 66:1 says, “Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.”
Revelation 4:6 says, “And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal.”
Ezekiel 1:26 says above the firmament is the likeness of a throne.
Do you see how the pattern never changes?
Earth below.
Firmament above.
Throne above the firmament.
Sea of glass before the throne.
That is the local God of Scripture.
That is the God who is near.
That is the God who can see, judge, hear, and descend.
The molten looking glass matters
When Job calls the sky “strong, and as a molten looking glass,” that matters. A looking glass is about sight. A looking glass is about seeing. That image fits exactly with the Bible’s constant insistence that the eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, that nothing is hidden from Him, and that heaven is not absent from earth.
The globe model trains men to imagine heaven so far away that daily divine nearness feels unreal.
Scripture trains men to imagine heaven overhead.
Scripture trains men to imagine the throne above.
Scripture trains men to imagine God near enough to rule, hear, visit, and judge.
The wise men said, “We have seen his star in the east.” Could the Northern star Polaris that never moves be that star? How did this star that never moves, move the one time the Lord came to earth and stood over the place Jesus was born?
How does this star ignore the speeding spin of the earth and guide Israelites to a location then stop moving over a specific location.
A normal star at astronomical distance would not naturally single out one house in Bethlehem by ordinary line of sight.
Scripture teaches a heaven full of signs, appointed lights, and visible order over the earth. In a fixed-earth reading, the heavens are not dead distance. They are covenant signs over a watched world.
Every eye shall see Him because He is above the earth, not beyond imaginary distance
Revelation 1:7 says, “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him.”
Matthew 24:30 says, “And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven... and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
This makes sense inside biblical cosmology.
God above.
Earth below.
Heavens overhead.
Clouds visible.
Firmament stretched over the world.
Throne above the firmament.
“Every eye shall see him” fits that world naturally.
The great noise and the scroll matter too. When Scripture says the heaven departs as a scroll and the stars fall, it is talking about the heavens themselves being shaken and removed. The great noise belongs to the heavens passing. The shaking belongs to the heavens. The world is not being described as a spinning ball waiting for atmospheric entry. The world is being described as a creation with a heaven above it that can be rolled back.
1 Enoch confirms the same world and strengthens the same reading again and again.
1 Enoch 18 speaks of the firm foundations of the earth, the corner-stone of the earth, the four winds that bear the earth and the firmament of heaven, the pillars of heaven, and the firmament of heaven above at the end of the earth.
1 Enoch 33 and 34 speak of the ends of the earth, the place where heaven rests, and portals of heaven opening in the north.
1 Enoch 72 through 76 speak of the sun and moon moving through portals, twelve portals in heaven at the ends of the earth, many windows, and winds going forth through those openings.
That is not modern cosmology. That is bounded cosmology. That is structured heaven. That is ordered movement. That is a world under a real heaven.

What world is Scripture describing?
When we put Genesis, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Revelation, Matthew, and Enoch together, the picture is plain.
The earth is founded.
The earth is fixed.
The world is not moved.
The deep has bounds.
The sea has a decree.
The heavens are stretched out.
The sky is strong like molten glass.
The firmament divides waters above from waters below.
The sun, moon, and stars are in the firmament.
The earth has corners.
Heaven has windows.
The stars fall to earth.
Heaven rolls back like a scroll.
The throne is above the firmament.
The sea of glass is before the throne.
The Son of Man comes in the clouds.
Every eye sees Him.
That is the Bible’s world.
Why this doctrine matters for covenant people
This doctrine is not about being quirky.
This doctrine is not about internet curiosity.
This doctrine is not about winning a side argument.
This doctrine matters because the way we view creation shapes the way we picture God.
A conquered people are always handed a foreign map.
A conquered people are always handed a foreign theology.
A conquered people are always handed a distant heaven, a weakened God, and an imagination that keeps them from fear, obedience, and expectation.
We reject that inheritance. We do not serve a God of abstraction. We do not serve a God hidden behind billions of miles. We do not serve a God who is too far away to be feared.
We serve the God of Abraham.
We serve the God who made the firmament.
We serve the God who set the lights in the firmament.
We serve the God who sits upon the circle of the earth.
We serve the God whose heaven is His throne and whose earth is His footstool.
We serve the God who sees us daily.
We serve the God whose world is ordered, watched, and ruled.
Questions already answered by the doctrine
Why does Genesis put water and light before the sun?
Because God is the source and orderer of creation. The sun is appointed later in the firmament. Scripture does not submit to solar-first assumptions.
Why does the Bible say the earth is not moved?
Because the earth is established, fixed, and founded by God.
Why does the Bible speak about waters above the heavens?
Because the firmament separates waters below from waters above, exactly as Genesis says.
Why does the Bible say circle and corners?
Because Scripture is describing a world with directional extremities, not a spinning globe in limitless space.
Why can every eye see Him?
Because the Bible’s cosmology is vertical, visible, and overhead. God is above the earth and the heavens are stretched over it.
Enoch confirms the same structure: ends of earth, ends of heaven, portals, pillars, winds, and ordered luminaries moving through openings.
Why do the 666 patterns matter?
Because the beast system leaves fingerprints. We do not base doctrine on numerics alone, but we do recognize confirmation when a corrupted system keeps bearing the same mark.
New Jerusalem and measured inheritance
Genesis 15:18 gives Abraham a measured land promise: “from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates.”
Revelation 21:16 gives a measured city: “The city lieth foursquare... twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.”
The point is covenant order, measured inheritance, and divine design. The Bible keeps returning to a God who measures, appoints, bounds, builds, establishes, and gives inheritance by design.
That is the God of the fixed earth.
This is our doctrine
The Bible teaches a fixed earth.
The Bible teaches a real firmament.
The Bible teaches waters above the heavens.
The Bible teaches that the sun, moon, and stars were set in the firmament.
The Bible teaches that the earth is founded, established, and not moved.
The Bible teaches that heaven is above, the throne is above the firmament, and the sea of glass is before the throne.
We believe the oppressor’s globe worldview gives people the wrong God, the wrong imagination, and the wrong distance.
We believe the God of Scripture is present, local, ruling, feared, and near.
We believe the earth is fixed because the Bible teaches it.
And if the Bible teaches it, the saints of the real God must stop apologizing for it.

This subject is very clear in the bible. The point of how we see God is important to our relationship with Him. At any place or point in time, we are always under God's eye. God is always near to us.
The only thing people should even need is to hear the 4 corners. What ball has corners? 😂
