This is a day to fast and pray, not simply “skip meals.”
You have two ways to participate—and you can choose either or both.
🕙 1. Hourly Prayer Gatherings (No Booking Required)
Purpose
A 10-15 minute group prayer every hour on the hour, from 10 AM to 5 PM (CDT), to keep us united in worship and scripture.
How to Join
At the top of any hour between 10am and 5pm cst, click the Google meet link here
Join the live stream. This will NOT be on Youtube
You’ll hear soft worship music while we gather.
Pastor will lead in prayer.
Read the assigned scripture for that hour quietly or aloud.
💡 No reservation, no limit. Come for one hourly prayer session, several, or stay for all.
🙏 2. Private One-on-One Spiritual Guidance (Booking Required)
Alongside the hourly group prayers, Pastor is offering personal prayer sessions for those who want focused spiritual guidance.
Reserve a time slot for October 11 during the Day of Atonement fast.
At your scheduled time, you’ll join the Google Meet link used for group prayer and be moved into a private breakout room for your session.
Purpose
A 20-minute private session to talk, pray, or seek spiritual guidance for your walk—not a confession booth, simply biblical counsel and prayer.

Click book, go to Oct 11th, click next availability to choose the time you like for your “Day of Atonement 1-on-1 Session.
Pick an available time between 10 AM and 5 PM CDT.
Times already taken will appear grayed out.
Enter your name, email, and any notes or topics you’d like to discuss (optional).
You’ll receive an automatic email confirmation with your exact time and a meeting link.
📌 Important: – All sessions are private, first-come, first-served, secured and archived for accountability. – Please be on time; late arrivals may shorten your session. – Arrive with a prayerful heart and any life challenges or spiritual topics you’d like to talk through
You will be brought into a breakout room for your Spiritual Guidance session.
(During hours no one schedules, I’ll host the group prayer as usual.)
Spiritual Fasting: A Comprehensive Guide
Start 6pm or sunset Friday after a light, balanced meal (no last-minute feasting).
Unless medication requires otherwise, No Food or Water.
Stay Present with God: Read, Catch up on Covenant Servant Videos and the Blog or sit in silence between hourly prayers.
Limit distractions: Avoid social media scrolling, TV, and heavy chores.
Break the Fast Wisely: At sunset or 6pm Saturday, begin with fruit, dates, or broth, then a balanced meal—avoid buffets or heavy fried foods.

Praise the Lord, Covenant Servants. This guide is designed to lead you through the Day of Atonement with clear structure and focus. The fast begins after your Friday evening service and concludes at 6 PM on Saturday. This is not about skipping food, but about afflicting the soul, removing distractions, and devoting the entire day to prayer, scripture, and reflection.
Hourly Reading & Prayer Schedule
7:00 AM – Cleansing the Heart
Scriptures: Leviticus 16
Begin with repentance and cleansing. Ask God to reveal hidden sin and thank Him for mercy.
8:00 AM – Confession
Scriptures: Psalm 51; Daniel 9:3–5
Confess openly and pray: 'Create in me a clean heart, O God.'
9:00 AM – Humility
Scriptures: Leviticus 23:26–32; James 4:7–10
Bow low before the Lord and humble your thoughts.

10:00 AM – Forgiveness

Pray for forgiveness and release resentment.
11:00 AM – Mercy

Meditate on God's compassion and mercy.
12:00 PM – Intercession
Scriptures: Nehemiah 1:4–7; Romans 8:26–27
Stand in the gap for others; intercede for Israel and your household.
1:00 PM – Healing
Scriptures: Psalm 147:3; Jeremiah 30:17; James 5:16
Pray for emotional and spiritual healing.

2:00 PM – Renewal
Scriptures: Romans 12:1–2; Ecclesiasticus 2:1–6
Ask God to renew your mind and strengthen your faith.
3:00 PM – Endurance
Scriptures: Isaiah 58:6–12; Hebrews 12:1–2
Ask for endurance and strength to remain steadfast.
4:00 PM – Restoration
Scriptures: Joel 2:12–14; Micah 7:18–19
Pray for restoration of covenant obedience and peace.
5:00 PM – Gratitude
Scriptures: Psalm 86:5–13; Ecclesiasticus 35:1–3
End the fast with thanksgiving.

Break your fast with prayer and gratitude. Recommit to obedience and faith.
Closing Prayer (6 PM)
Lord, thank You for hearing our cry. We come out of this fast washed, renewed, and ready to walk upright before You. Cleanse our hearts, heal our homes, and write Your law upon our hearts. Amen.
