Pain is proof

Pain is not random.

Pain is not bad luck.

Pain is not life just “lifeing.”

Pain is proof.

Most of us keep tripping over the same problems because we never stop to ask why they keep showing up. We treat symptoms, but we refuse to deal with the source. We numb pain, medicate pain, distract ourselves from pain, but we never uproot the thing causing it.

The Bible teaches cause and effect. When something keeps hurting, it’s because something was ignored.

Pain is God’s alarm clock.

The problem is not the pain. The problem is the root that was never pulled up.

Sin pays wages. The Bible is clear about that. And the payment is not blessings. The payment is pain. Sometimes immediately. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes years later. But it always comes.

Grace is not permission to keep sinning. Grace is time. Time to repent. Time to change. Time to remove sin before it finishes its work.

Even after forgiveness, consequences can remain. That doesn’t mean God didn’t forgive you. It means sin still pays.

This is why the Day of Atonement matters. In the Bible, Israel didn’t cover sin. We confessed it. Blood was applied to the mercy seat. One goat was sacrificed because the wages of sin is still death. Another goat carried the sin away from the camp. That was restoration. That was holiness. That was freedom.

Atonement requires something to die.

Holiness is not optional. God dwells in a clean camp. You cannot straddle sin and righteousness at the same time. You cannot treat symptoms and expect healing.

If pain keeps showing up, God is talking.

If consequences keep repeating, God is warning.

If grace is still available, God is calling.

The question is simple.

Will you deal with the root, or will you keep cashing the paycheck?

The wages of sin is still death.

But the gift of God is life.

Choose wisely.

The curses of the Bible come easily. But I live so I can live again with God. I want to walk in the blessings He has for me. I chose life!
