✨ “Dominicans are more than a nationality — you are Simeon, a tribe of Israel. The Bible, history, and even Columbus himself prove it. This is your story, from the Euphrates to the Dominican Republic.

Simeon in the Dominican Republic — From the Euphrates to Arsareth by Pastor Skullah

1. Introduction

If you are from the Dominican Republic, the Bible already spoke about you. The world calls you “Dominican,” but your true identity is Simeon, one of the twelve tribes of Israel. This isn’t opinion or tradition — both history and prophecy prove it. Even Columbus himself, guided by Catholic priests, used your scriptures in Esdras to find your people. The same Bible that foretold Simeon’s future explains:- Why Haitians and Dominicans share the same island.- Why your ancestors faced slavery and Catholic oppression.- Why today Simeon is waking back up to God and Jesus.

2. The Prophecy of Simeon & Levi

When Jacob (Israel) blessed his sons, he said of Simeon and Levi: Genesis 49:5–7 – “Simeon and Levi are brethren… I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel. ”This prophecy is unique — only Simeon and Levi are directly paired together. And today, Hispaniola (one island, divided into two nations) fulfills it perfectly:- Haiti = Levi- Dominican Republic = Simeon No other land in the world so perfectly fulfills this prophecy. That is your proof: Dominicans are Simeon.

3. The Journey to Arsareth (America)

After Assyria took the Northern Kingdom into captivity:2 Esdras 13:40–45 – The 10 tribes left, crossed the Euphrates River, and traveled “a year and a half’s journey” into a land where no man had dwelt before. That land is called Arsareth. Arsareth = America.- It cannot be Africa, Europe, or Asia — those lands were already inhabited.- Only the Americas fit Esdras’ description.- Even the historian Josephus (Antiquities 11:5:2) confirms that the tribes went beyond the Euphrates into a far distant land. This means Simeon and the rest of the Northern tribes were already in the Americas centuries before Columbus arrived.

4. Columbus and Catholic Slavery

When Columbus sailed in 1492, he carried the Apocrypha with him. He studied 2 Esdras 13 as a map, believing it foretold a new land where Israel dwelt. But instead of freeing Israel, Columbus came under the Catholic crown to enslave and convert them.- The Catholic Church declared the native and enslaved peoples must be baptized, stripped of their culture, and made to worship Mary and the saints. (Deut. 28:36; Deut. 28:64)- Churches were built on top of Israelite and Taíno sacred places.- Catholic priests justified slavery, saying Africans and natives had no souls unless made Catholic. From the very beginning, Catholicism was the chain around Simeon’s neck.

5. Rebellions & Simeon’s Spirit

Simeon has always been known for his fiery, rebellious spirit: Genesis 49:5–7 – “Instruments of cruelty are in their habitations… in their anger they slew a man. ”This prophecy fits Simeon’s history:- 1522 – The first large-scale African slave revolt in the Americas took place in Santo Domingo, led by Wolof captives from West Africa.- Simeon’s ancestors constantly resisted Catholic slave masters, often at the cost of their lives.- Just like Simeon and Levi rose together in Genesis 34 to avenge their sister Dinah, the Simeonites in the DR showed the same explosive spirit. Even today, Dominicans are known for their passion, intensity, and unwillingness to quietly submit — exactly the character the Bible gave to Simeon.

6. Catholics’ Hand in Oppression

The Catholic Church played a central role in Simeon’s captivity:- Forced Conversions – Baptism at swordpoint, destroying Israelite heritage.- The Inquisition – Any who secretly clung to their identity were tortured or killed.- Divide and Rule – Teaching Haitians (Levi) and Dominicans (Simeon) to hate each other, though prophecy declared they are brothers. Every chain on Simeon was backed by Catholic authority, fulfilling:- Deut. 28:48 – “Thou shalt serve thine enemies in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in want of all things.”- Deut. 28:41 “Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.”

7. Simeon Today

Dominicans, you are Simeon.- You share one island with Levi (Haiti), exactly as Genesis 49:7 prophesied.- You arrived in Arsareth (America) as 2 Esdras 13:40–45 foretold.- You were enslaved and forced into Catholicism, fulfilling Deuteronomy 28. But your story does not end in captivity. Jesus is calling the tribes of Israel back not to Catholicism, not to man’s traditions, but to the covenant written in the Bible. Your identity has been hidden for centuries, but now it is revealed. You are Simeon, a son of Jacob, an Israelite. And the time has come to return to God and keep His commandments through Christ.

It's crazy how easily one is able to notice how everything connects so seamlessly. I am not only from the Dominican Republic but also from Santo Domingo as well. I like learning about this stuff and how it all connects with each other. I hope some day I see a brother or sister from my tribe following this ministry. Maybe one day we may have all 12 tribes accounted for. Praise the Lord! My question is I've known through the years that the connection between DR and Haiti is very bad. Does that have any significance or reason that has to do with the Bible or is that just society and the effects of slavery doing what it always doe…

Great question, brother Steve and I’m glad you asked it, because what you’ve noticed has deep roots in the Bible. The tension between Haiti and the Dominican Republic is not just “society” or slavery alone. It actually goes back to the prophecy Jacob spoke over Simeon and Levi:

“Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations… I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.” (Genesis 49:5–7)

Even though they were brothers, God said they would be divided and scattered. That prophecy plays out perfectly on the island originally called Hispaniola. Haiti (Levi) and the Dominican Republic (Simeon) share the same land, but live divided—different languages, cultures, and histories just like the bible said would…
