Did we limit our time with God to the minimum requirement? God separated the last day of the week to fellowship with Adam. Rest yes.
We are also required to Keep this day holy.
Does that mean the other days are ok to keep unholy? We should keep ourselves holy everyday and present ourselves before God at minimum on the day he chose to commune with mankind. The word Sunday is not found in the scriptures, neither is Saturday.
What we find is our obligation to keep the last day of the week holy & free from work. This does not mean you can't keep the rest of the week holy while you are permitted to work.
He knew we'd forget, that's why this commandment is the only one in the chapter that starts with remember. Exodus 20:8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.”

I read that Early Christians went to church on Sunday due to it being the day Jesus was Resurrected and the Holy Spirit visited the Apostles. I found an example they use from Acts 20:7 when the man fell from the window, (I do have a different perspective about that particular scripture as well.) But just because Christians go to church on Sunday, does that mean we should assume they don’t keep other days/traditions/lifestyles holy? Should we assume that by christians not practicing Sabbath, even though it was a holy feast created for US ( Israelites), that they can’t also be a holy people dedicated to worshipping god?
